One looks at other artist’s work and one thinks “I can do that with a bit more practice.”

And with enough practice one can get close, but then along comes an artist who just does something spectacular.

Then one thinks “How did he do that?.”

This work of a ballerina in black and white by Alois Kolodziej from Germany is called “Turnier” – which in German means “Competition”. Realistic art and yet ephemeral.

I think it is stunning.
