This quaint Tudor cottage in Warwickshire, UK, is down the road from a pretty coffee shop and a few miles away from Shakespeare’s happy hunting ground in Stratford Upon Avon. My daughter sent the photo and I used it as the subject matter while participating in a black background and chalk art experience. The idea revolves drawing the outlines of your subject in chalk on a black background. You then paint in the negative spaces and afterwards you remove the chalk lines. Not as easy as it sounds.
The piece is Acrylic on Canvas Panel and is 254 mm X 355 mm or 10 inch X 14 inch.
