Ninety six kilometres north east of Kroonstad and sixteen kilometres east of Parys in the Northern Free State is the small farming region of Weiveld.
Central to economic enterprise in Weiveld is cattle and grain farming and supported by a twelve tube grain silo operated by Senwes – Grainlink.
The scene is of a distant farm building on a farm visible from the N1 national road between Johannesburg and Cape Town.
It is an Oil on Canvas Panel piece measuring 309 mm x 610 mm or 12 inch x 24 inch.
