The Cord marque only existed from late 1929 to 1937 but in that short space of time they designed some fabulous vehicles and introduced a host of innovations to motoring. Probably the most famous of the Cords were the 1936 and 1937 models. The model featured in this oil painting is a 1936 Westchester.
It’s an oil painting on a canvas panel measuring 148 mm x 210 mm (6 in X 8 in). It forms part of a series which includes a 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery, Just an old Ford, 1950 Chevrolet Deluxe, 1937 Chevrolet Coupe, 1947/48 Pontiac Silver Streak, and this 1936 Cord Westchester .
