The 1937 Chevrolet Coupe is finally complete. I really enjoyed doing this old rust bucket with it’s patina, rusty wheel rims and broken door handle. Painting old cars is a lot cheaper than restoring them to their former glory or turning them into hot rods or “gassers”.
Here are some photos taken during the process.
It is an oil painting on a canvas panel measuring 152 x 203 mm or 6 x 8 inches.
Some other small motor vehicle paintings currently nearing completion include a blue 1950 Chevrolet de Luxe, a 1952 Blue and Orange Chevrolet de Luxe, a 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery and a 1947/1948 Pontiac Silver Streak.
I’m brave enough to tackle most challenges. You’re invited to send me your favourite photo and put me to the test. You can mail me at BruceA684@gmail.com and I’ll get back to you.
